Local TV channel’s video documentaries track station big build

Stratford TV vid 4From the first ceremonial spade in the ground in October to last month’s overnight installation of a 170 tonne steel footbridge, local TV service Stratford TV has been capturing the construction of Warwickshire’s newest train station, Stratford-upon-Avon Parkway, which will welcome its first passengers when in opens next month.

Stratford TV vid 4Overnight on March 17th the new Stratford Parkway Railway Station took a giant step forward with the erection of the footbridge over the railway line linking the two platforms. Here’s the story of the night, a very large crane and some very big pieces of metal!

The construction of Stratford’s new Parkway station is well underway, but not surprisingly hampered by the rain and the snow. In this video the Project Manager updates us on progress and says that despite the elements, they are on target to finish on time.
